I'm pretty sure what your looking at in roast log, but it costs money. Roaster thing and artisan are free software(but you will have to pay for a data logger). But being able to log a roast real time is invaluable.

Hi dustin360,
i've been using artisan without temperature probe. I input the temperatura data manually but the pop up window take a long time to register the data and the PC is running only the artisan. Well i'll keep searching,in case i find it i will inform you ok? Thanks Marcelo :D

Inputting the temperature in real time into RoasterThing is trivially simple. No recording necessary, just click a button whenever you reach the current target temperature and the button will automatically move the target to the next increment. And for the completely insane among you, RT allows manually logging up to 9 or so temperatures at the same time. http://roasterthing.com/RTMTemperatureLogging

Hi, mmgoulart. If your putting temps in manually then roasterthing might be a better option, you can manually log roasts with it easier than artisan. But I would highly recommend you purchase some sort of temperature logging device, they are invaluable. I tried manually logging for a long time, it was a real Pain in the ass, plus it takes you away from the fun! Being able to plot a roast real time, and only have to mark a few points makes roasting so much easier, more enjoyable, and easier to learn from.

Dustin ,
You are completly right, 110% right, exactly what i'm passing through, pain in the ass to note time, temperataure, FC, burning scale etc. I have to create Shame and buy a temperatura data logger, thanks . Bye

Haha, glad to hear your on the right track. I did the whole "write notes every 30 seconds" thing. And i truly didnt learn much from it. As soon as i upgraded to the Quest, and way able to "see" the roast, the learning quadrupled.
