Hi! Does anyone know if one can buy a replacement fan for the Quest M3? Does anyone know what voltage the fan runs on, and whats the CFM for the fan?

Thanks!!

There is a post somewhere in the depths of the quest threads that mentions the fan make and model, and has a link to the same fan. I remember checking it out and hoping I could find something more powerful but the same size.

I believe this company sell the same fan that the Quest is equipped with.

I ASSUME this is the fan you are asking about: Another airhead drums: Initial Impressions of the Quest M3

Great! Thanks!

Does anyone know if this is the same one, or if this is equal in power and CFM?

This is the same.

I've exchange some e-mail with Cam York and they can sell even 1 unit of any model if you need, they can communicate in English. I think the shipping cost was a little bit high, and here in Brazil we pay crazy taxes, so I let this idea behind (I was thinking about more air flow for the Quest). It seems a robust product as the little one inside Quest suffers a lot and doesn't complain...

Thank you!

(I think we pay about the same percentage on imported goods here in Norway as whats normal in Brazil, 25% (incl shipping) plus $40 handling fee)

In general, using post office there and here, we pay 60% (federal)! And even worse, courier deliveries (UPS/Fedex/DHL etc) are faster, but local tax apply and it reaches 95%... I said it was crazy!

Looking forward to see your roaster with a powerful fan!

Oh, that is crazy!

The fan is actually not for the Quest, I just needed to know the type of fan the Quest uses for my thesis. I'm going for something a bit bigger for my roaster.
