Go get 'em.
Good stuff: http://homeroasters.org/php/news.php

The site is a bit confusing (sorry to say), but it's worth taking a couple of minutes to figure it out.
Go to the home page and you'll see auction items preview. That is where you go to click and see the items. Go to whatever item you want to bid on "click" and post after the last post a higher bid.

You will need to sign up as a member, but that part is even easier.

Just don't outbid me.
Oh, that's mean spirited of me.
Go ahead....
There's plenty to go around.

I tried outbidding Susan... It didn't work. Some items are flying fast and furious, but come check it out!

I wonder if anyone needs a sign for their shop from http://oldwoodsigns.com. It will be personalized if you are the winner - highest bid - with all proceeds going to Coffee Kids. Here is the link to this item, one of seven lots that close on Saturday at 6pm, CST:

http://www.homeroasters.org/php/f...d=15423#post_14523

Other items? All the items listed with a beginning number of 2-X are open for your bids, closing Saturday May 16th, 6pm CST. Bid early, bid often. http://www.homeroasters.org/php/f...php?thread_id=1333.

Roasters (Behmor, FreshRoast8, Nesco, HG/BM, Poppery 1) open for bids all month. All roasters being auctioned begin with 0-X and will close May 30th, 6pm, CST. General community welcome to jump in there: http://www.homeroasters.org/php/f...php?thread_id=1333.

Thanks for the invite Dan:

Week 3 just closed, $2300 total to date for Coffee Kids. Grand finale week. Hot item? Rare Zass 580 grinder from friends at http://orphanespresso.com (great site). Zass is listed at http://www.homeroasters.org/php/f...id=1349#post_14504. A Zass 580, espresso to press pot grind. Bet it brings in $300.

Final week, with 5 roasters, 2 pieces of art, tons of greens, a new Yama with a Cory, and more. Just stay away from my Zass <grins>:

Bidding open to the public. Just register and bid early, bid often.

It's a wrap. $5608 raised this month for http://coffeekids.org. Thanks to all who participated.

The Zass 580, from http://orphanespresso.com, went for $547. Joe Behm outdid himself during the last day. When he saw the spirited bidding, he tossed in a second roaster. The two roasters combined brought in $1060. A good month for Coffee Kids.

We have a very generous group of people in the coffee industry who supported us with items, as well as members who offered significant donations in kind as well as shipping, greens, etc. Every penny went to Coffee Kids. The homeroasting community came through, bidding with gusto. Thanks again, all.
