I think that the cooler is optional.amagad wrote:im going to bite the bullet and by the kaldi fortis, just want to confirm, do i buy it from http://mg.gmarket.co.kr/Item?goodscode=784965148. and also, does this really come with both the roaster and the cooler ?

Look at the "Select" drop down. First you choose between the Center 301 or 306 thermometers and then you choose yes or no on the cooler/chaff collector. The cooler/chaff collector is not cheap. If it were me I'd get cooling chaff collecting equipment from Mr. Li of Huky fame.amagad wrote:im going to bite the bullet and by the kaldi fortis, just want to confirm, do i buy it from http://mg.gmarket.co.kr/Item?goodscode=784965148. and also, does this really come with both the roaster and the cooler ?
Gmarket seems to be quite a bit cheaper than ebay.

Please report back when you receive it. I think that there is a couple of hbers who are looking for some user experience with the Fortis.amagad wrote:im going to bite the bullet and by the kaldi fortis, just want to confirm, do i buy it from http://mg.gmarket.co.kr/Item?goodscode=784965148. and also, does this really come with both the roaster and the cooler ?

I'd love to see a review of the Kaldi Fortis system, including the fan too if anyone picks it up. So far I haven't seen any reviews of that at all. At this point even a Korean review would be of interest.

I would think that the majority of Kaldi owners/users are Korean, and that there must be some valuable reviews - but where?
