I-roast 2 out of stock, could it be done for good?

Postby rotuts on Wed Aug 25, 2010 3:06 pm

Ive been roasting with the i-roast 2 for several years after using two CafeRoasto's

I modified mine with the Taylor long probe thermometer through the top screen and metal chaff container

I rely on this temp as an indicator for bean to bean roast consistency, and would be somewhat lost without it.

I had hoped to by one for a gift for some friends and modify it to get them roasting.

all this is to say: any ideas out there if it will appear again and when?

if its defunct would the next choice be the behmor?

thanks

If memory serves, it has been two or three years since they have had a presence at the SCAA annual exhibition; read into that what you will. You could try contacting them directly (maybe at repair@hearthware.com), but even their own iRoast website (https://www.i-roast.com/index.asp) states that it is 'temporarily out of stock.'
