To answer this, I ran it empty, with clean top filters, at max fan, max heat, ~80F ambient. MET TC, which is placed 1mm before the hot air would hit a bean, started reading 440F+ after 1:30+. From that point onwards, the temp was increasing slowly; I'd guess it'd hit 500F at about 3:00. Needless to say, if it was loaded with beans, air would be restricted and MET would get hotter, faster.
