I can't imagine it is, but I'm interested as well.

TomC wrote:Roatermasters has the new crop Panama Esmeralda Geisha. I just finished my last sip of my first profile of this green, which prompted this post. This coffee punches way above it's price. It's absolutely spectacular. The coffee takes heat quite easily. I kept the profile short, with a very short finish as well. It sparkles with it's sweet florals and juicy clean citrus and jasmine.

On a similar vein, has anyone tried their Harar Gr1? I was tempted to pick some up. If I do, I'll order another bag of the Esmeralda.
Tom, is this Panama Geisha the same bean as GCBC has at 13$?

No, the offering on GCBC (still likely to be quite impressive, I ordered some) is one tier below the Roastmasters offering.

Hacienda La Esmeralda Grand Reserve/Special = Online auction $$$$$

Hacienda La Esmeralda Private Collection (formerly Boquete) = Roastmasters offering $$$

Hacienda La Esmeralda Geisha 1500 = Current offering on CGBC $$

SM's Pulcal Intelligente. Chocolate coated black current Kenya. Better than the superb Pulcal from a few years back; and one of the best coffees this year. Works as spro too.

I got this Ethiopia Yirga Cheffe Dry Process -Gedeb Asasa at SMs https://www.sweetmarias.com/product/eth ... edeb-asasa. I found it outstanding. Fruity and complex. Smells great. I roasted about City+. Might be my favorite bean ever. I'm not great with the coffee descriptors so I'll leave it at that.

I also noticed Bodhi Leaf has Ethiopia Natural Yirgacheffe Gedeb Lot 29 http://www.bodhileafcoffee.com/collecti ... t-29-green.

I wonder how similar they are.

First fresh crop Kenya (Peaberry) hitting Sweet Maria's reads like something spectacular.
