No matter how much coffee inventory I have, the Klatch Gedeo Worka and Klatch Panama Elida are must-have coffees.

Roastmasters has the new arrival of Panama Elida Estate Reserve WP. It is 100% Catuai. The WP Elida at Klatch is a blend of Catuai, Typica and Bourbon. Just ordered some tonight.

Roatermasters has the new crop Panama Esmeralda Geisha. I just finished my last sip of my first profile of this green, which prompted this post. This coffee punches way above it's price. It's absolutely spectacular. The coffee takes heat quite easily. I kept the profile short, with a very short finish as well. It sparkles with it's sweet florals and juicy clean citrus and jasmine.

On a similar vein, has anyone tried their Harar Gr1? I was tempted to pick some up. If I do, I'll order another bag of the Esmeralda.

Can you post your profile? I did a very short roast/short finish as well and got nothing but wet grass.

Had it from another source. Good considering it is a Harrar, but a bit too much funk for me, especially at a light roast.
How'd you like the Elida Reserve wp?

The washed is incredible this year. Usually it's the natural that grabs the spotlight, but the washed is equally impressive. Both presentations are equally sweet. The natural is quite clean. On the washed, I noticed a very slight vegetal sort of sweetness, sorta like bell pepper or roasted carrots or something in that vein. Certainly delicious and sweet, just not in the fruit sweet realm. My natural is only going on 24 hours out, so I'll evaluate it more tomorrow, but the fragrance this afternoon was all chocolate covered strawberries, and was probably the sweetest cup I've had in a while. Spectacular choice either way. I'll probably have the Elida Natural as Septembers Roast and Learn Together selection, I'd love to have your input on it.

Red Fox had a very small offering of a Harrar this morning that vanished in minutes. I tried to get some, but alas, it was already gone.

I wish I could, but I didn't bother saving the profile, I had the ET wire loose, so I was only going by my experience and my BT and MET reading. It was insanely fast, hot and short. I knew going in to it that they'd take heat well with their wide open seams, but not that well. I have no hints of underdevelopment, just explosive sweet, juicy fruits and jasmine.

There is an ongoing distribution of Panama Esmerelda Geisha at the Green Coffee Buying Club if anyone is interested. Price is about $13lb plus shipping.

Is it the same offering as roastmaster has?
