Looks like it could double as a motorcycle lift. Roaster platform one day, motorcycle repair station the next.

Yeah, and those are easily a grand. I bet you could modify this with scrap metal lying around your shop for free.

Table arrived yesterday. Box was beat to hell by Fedex, and not actually delivered, not signed for, just dumped at the bottom of my stairwell. I'll be filing a claim with them for the damages, for this stunt they pulled. I got an automated phone call from Fedex stating that this item required a signature in order to be delivered. My maintenance man found it at the bottom of my stairwell, by the mailbox, beat to hell.
But on the upside.... It assembled in about 7 minutes. It comes fully assembled minus the two front wheels, and you insert and torque down the foot pedal, slide the tall handle arm into their sockets and torque them down and your done. It's preset at the right torque and release to collapse down, but can be adjusted. Once I get my very strong friend over here, I'll move the roaster onto it and be all set.
There's a ribbed thick black rubber mat that goes on top of the table, but it smells gawdawful new tire smell, and it's currently banned to the balcony by my girlfriend until it tames down a bit. It was a bit curled up in the box, so I have it laying out flat and am hoping it flattens out nicely.
I remeasured everything. It should be just perfect for roaster. The only challenge I foresee is rolling it on the brief run of carpet till it rolls into the kitchen. I might buy one of those clear nylon chair pads for rolling office chairs on carpet.
When it's fully collapsed, it will take up a lot less space and be more manageable.
Fully extended, it raises the platform to the perfect height I need (27.5").

That's the sort of stuff I was referring to, I just didn't know what it was called. But thanks, now I have a Google reference to search for.
