So my first roast didn't go so well. I put in 240g of Sweet Maria's Colombia Alto de Topica Microlot and turned the roaster on on P1 using the 1/2lb setting on the Behmor 1600 (not a plus model). I didn't hear first crack until the roast was almost done (12 minutes I believe). So once the roaster started flashing on the < 1 min countdown I hit start again to make sure it didn't automatically go into the cooling cycle. I also added a bit more time but I think it only let me add 1.5 minutes. After it started flashing again it wouldn't let me add anymore time and it then went into the cooling cycle. The beans are completely flavorless. They are extremely lightly roasted. I made a cup of drip using 22g for a 12oz cup and it tastes bland with hints of sour. Pics of the roasted beans are below. What did I do wrong?

1/2 pound = 226 grams and you put 240, that's probably why you ran out of time. Try putting anything between 200g - 226g. That way you should be able to reach the 1st crack earlier, and have enough time to roast darker to a medium level.

I have a Behmor and have been getting good results lately. I always do 12oz of green beans at the 1 lb setting, profile P3, with the timer set for 20 minutes (A?). That takes me just into second crack and gives a Full City+ roast. I normally hear the popcorn start just before the 18 minute mark and then the milk hits the Rice Crispies about 2 minutes later.

Here are two types of bean from Amazon.com that have worked out well for me. Results may not suit a pure espresso drinker but they go well with milk. Come to think of it, there's probably not much likelihood of anything coming out of a Behmor suiting a pure espresso drinker. :)

As for Sweet Marias, the only coffee I ever liked from them was Liquid Amber and they seem to have discontinued that. I am not a fan of Monkey Blend - I'll leave that for the monkeys. Hence my now shopping elsewhere.

I figured an extra 14g wouldn't be too much of an issue since P1 is supposed to be the darkest roast profile (it ramps up to full power as quickly as possible and stays there). I assumed at worst I'd get something light or medium roasted.

Maybe the Behmor isn't able to draw enough power from the outlet?

I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong. The idea of the Behmor is that you dial in as close as you can but you still have to be on standby for the last 5 minutes to adjust the end-time as needed (with the + button). As a rule of thumb, once you hit first crack you want to have about another 2 minutes still on the clock.

One thought though, given that you got the roaster used, was it clean, and if not, have you cleaned it? Here are some references:

I'm not sure about the outlet power. I have the 1600+ model and usually roast pound batches, as i like to experiment with different beans. Usually no issues to roast up to medium or even FC+ but once in a while with certain coffees (Columbia was giving me trouble) i run out of time with barely hitting the first crack so I need to reduce to 12oz/340g. I would try with 200g.
