Artisan thermocouple/curve compensation

Since I posted about this the other day, I have one PM and 2 emails asking how to enter thermocouple compensation values in Artisan.
Open Artisan:
1. Click "config"
2.Click "Device"
3.Click "Symb ET/BT
4. Type "x + (a positive value)" Note: that's "x_+_(x)" You need the space in between. For a positive increase it will look like this:
I haven't tried it, but I presume that "x - (x)" will yield a decrease.
I also presume that a guy could write an equation to increase the temp on a proportional curve such that the temp would read more accurately over the entire range of measurement. I'm just not that guy.
