Hello,
I have a new roaster using a modbus device. I get the following error message from artisan:
Modbus error: read single register () exception response @ line 23327
The serial port configuration is for modbus: comm Port (COM5), Baud Rate (115200), Byte size (8), Parity (N), Shopbits (1), Timeout (1).
Input 1: Slave (1), Register (0), Function (3), Mode (F).
Input 2: Slave (1), Register (1), Function (3), Mode (F).
Input 3 and 4: Slave (0), Register (0).
Host: 192.168.1.8
Port 502

In the ET/BT page (under serial port configuration), I get: Settings for non-Modbus devices
BUT under Device Assignment menu (ET/BT) I have meter: Modbus

Previously, I was using Artisan with phidget.

Anybody can help please.
Regards
Martin

It is connected via Ethernet connector.
