What would be different in your roasting strategies in a fluidbed system?
Would it make sens to reduce the drying phase time since it is mostly conductive in a drum roaster?
What about the Maillard and development phases?
Are you aiming to keep control on the bean agitation (when possible)?
Any difference in the espresso cup so as to compare with a drum system (light roast)?

This is a great question & subject!
I often have in my mind 2 roast profiles that I like the principle of very much:
(1) Rao 10m ideal roast: 5 min dry, 3 min ramp, 2min develop, constantly declining ROR
(2) Fast Nordic Style: 2:50 dry, 2:50 ramp, 1 to 2 min develop.
Many have reported success with profiles like (1).
Mark (creative_nickname) has reported good success with (2) on various beans.
Also, the world roaster championship profiles often fall into (2).
However, how would the advice be different with fluid bed vs. drum roasters?
