Have you aligned your grinders correctly?

Yep I think so! As per the guide, loosen the outer ring, lock burrs (tighten knob), tighten allen key on ring, off you go.

It seems unlikely it would lose alignment. However, the top nut could have loosened a bit. It would probably cause the same issues

Put your finger on the inner burr. Can you move it? (does it wobble?)

I don't think these things were issues for me, either. I've taken the grinder apart for cleaning and such a bunch of times and put it back together again making sure the burrs were "aligned." Before yesterday's clogged brews, I'd taken it completely apart for a good brushing and put it together again.

I made an immersion this morning, so the clogging of a pourover to the point of harming the brew isn't an issue. But I did polish it by pouring the brew through a paper filter. There's a thick coating of fines on the filter that slowed the pour quite a bit. This, after sieving 15% of the total grind off as fines that never made it into the brew.

Any recommendations on travel cases for the Helor?

I use a sock, or a drawstring bag that came with some Audioengine A2 speakers.

That's about what I was thinking too. I just wish the handle would store in a way where it won't scratch the body.
