Are you going to replace the burrs?
It would seem with all that mis-use and gunk, new burrs would be a good thing.
Hard to tell the old burrs condition.
Enjoy that grinder. You earned it.

How can a doser be run through the dishwasher? Won't it mess with the mechanicals, or do you take it all apart before doing this?

It looks sparkling clean, by the way....and no water spots!

I'm wondering this myself...My doser could sure use a deep cleaning, if I can just toss it in the dishwasher, that would be great. I wouldn't have expected that it would have been good for it though...

I'd recommend breaking it down afterward as I found grounds packed up under areas that I doubt the dishwasher would reach when I cleaned mine. The ratchet mechanism is coated with grease so I would suggest recoating that area.
