TGP II: Particle Distribution Analysis of Grinder Adjustments - Page 7

My compliment to all who gave the information above. I alas am not so technical. I have developed a filter that can use espresso grind coffee and want to know what the area was compared to normal plunger grind whatever that is.

My experiments with tea show that something like 55% of the flavour is thrown out with the leaves when you use large leaf tea.

Many thanks

(OT) I dump the first flush of Ti Kuan Yin, as is traditional; and like the 3rd and 4th flushes best. Tea brewing is very different from espresso or coffee.

Mr. Bersten is being modest. He is the author of the great illustrated coffee machine history Coffee Floats Tea Sinks: Through History and Technology to a Complete Understanding. I refer to his book frequently.

Welcome, Ian!
