Super Jolly wobble chirping normal sounds? (And clumping grid).

I've searched and searched, but I can't figure out if this is normal for a Mazzer SJ. I'm concerned it is not normal. Were I to post a video for my new to me 2002 Mazzer, then this Starting to think 9 out of 10 Rocky's are lemons... is this sound = wobble? is what it would sound like. I tried resetting the burrs several times - same sound. This is the setting that I find best for my Pavoni Europiccola (I have choked it looking for the best setting).

Along with new burrs, I bought the doserless kit from phaleon56 (thank you!). The grind retention is horrible. I read elsewhere that the clumping is terrible if the grid is not in place, so has someone tried a compromise, like cutting out one or two of the wires? I find the grind retention so annoying that I'm ready to just yank out the grid, but I'll be patient yet.

Having said all this, I'm very impressed with my shots this week.

I played with the grid on both my SJ & Major but in the end just removed it. I haven't noticed any clumping issue with the Major as the grounds get blasted into the side of the funnel which would break up any clumps coming out of the chute. My advice is to remove the grid & see what you think. You can always reinstall it using 3M 2 sided tape.

The ticking sound in that video would seem to indicate burrs touching. I don't hear anything like that when running my SJ or Major unless I'm zeroing the burrs.

I just tried (again) putting grid back on my grinder since new SJ burrs seemed to spray a bit more...

I took it out quickly again... it really causes major clumping. I probably tried taking out/putting back in about 5 times by now -- i just carefully peeled the tape, so it can be attached again.
