You will need 3 M4 35mm socket head bolts, or cap screws. If you buy the collar and pin online, make sure the vendor includes these bolts, or the kit will sit unused in your kitchen drawer to this very day, because the clerk at Home Depot looked askance at you when you asked for a larger selection of metric screws, and your life has gotten too busy to hunt down insignificant hardware in your xenophobic Southern town. Which you love nonetheless.
Excuse me.
I would recommend that unless you have a machine that can really make use of the much smaller adjustment it may not make sense to do this. I have a Gaggia Espresso, so that will let you know where I am coming from. It's not a subtle machine.
Actually, you know what? I am just blowing smoke here, because I know that this weekend I am going to find a Fastenal and beg the clerks there to give me just 3 of those tiny screws--3, who's going to notice? Then I am going to make some shots and pretend I have discovered some flavored nuance my crusty old collar and pin hid from me. And then PID a water kettle, dehumidify my kitchen, etc, etc...etc!
Good luck!
