If they fit I would swap them and I am sure that the grind will be improved.

The upper burr is round and won't fit.

Rappy wrote:Something interesting I discovered today is that the Baratza Preciso burrs seem to fit the ROK. I cannot confirm 100% as I only lined them up visually, I didn't actually swap them out. They are highly regarded small conical burrs, so would be interesting to see if there is an improvement from the saeco ones.

That'd be very interesting to find out! If that's true I'll order the burrs right away! Hope it'll be able to produce a decent turkish grind!

It's not round. It has the same two shoulders as the rok burr. In the picture the outer burr is inverted.

Main problem is how to get inner burr to stay on axle as I don't know if it has the two holes for the burr key.

It has two holes on the other side, I'm not sure if the diameter is the same as on the ROK. It also doesn't have the D shaped axle hole so I'm pretty sure some kind of modification will be required at best.

The d shaped hole is not on the rok inner burr itself, but on the burr key. Probably wouldn't need the burr key if inner burr did not move around the axle.
Are you saying there are two holes on the underside of the preciso inner burr?

Yes you are right about the D shaped hole it's on the burr key not on the burr itself. You can't control grind size on the ROK without the burr key since the outer burr is sitting still, inner burr has to move up and down on the axle... It seems like Baratza burr has a threaded hole in it but there is still a chance it can fit the burr key. And yes it does have two hole in it too!

You can see it here on 6:00 https://youtu.be/BiNUkChqhvc?t=6m

Thanks for the video. I had been looking for photos of the underside for a while. I didn't want to remove my brother in laws Preciso inner burr just to check.

So, I think I will be the guinea pig and order these burrs. I'll let you know what happens.
