I upgrade today, without any problems. But such a short upgrading time in holiday season...
They send long emails about nothig important. It's weird changing brand name, and the sieves already in production phase. But since today I don't receive any exact date about the delivery.
The costumer management, and project management skills should be much better than this.

I feel that's a little harsh for a Kickstarter. We obviously assume risk that a product won't even come to market at all. Yet here, communication and update has been regular, processes moving quickly, unexpected surprises addressed immediately and backers immediately informed, and production seemingly on a very promising and reasonable schedule. I feel if we want fine tuned customer support with practiced and experienced customer support, we really should be focusing on established and experienced companies. Though, I, personally, found the emails to be quite clear with my only point of confusion occurring between the originally shipping/upgrade emailed followed in close succession by an email saying we needed to register to successfully upgrade. A moment of slight uncertainty though, at worst, so overall I am quite happy. (Still peeved that the shipping errors cost me the original early bird package though...:) )

So October, not an update, or an email. Have the first shipments to backers been sent out per the last update? I didn't receive anything. The updates are missing, they stuck somewhere in production, and they forget to inform their customers. I expect more.

They just sent out a pre-order mail blast to email subscribers; so production must be getting close. Yes the September deadline was missed, but remember there was a huge branding snafu.

I got this email on Sep 12 at 2:29pm EST

Hello All,

We are happy and thankful for all the positive feedback from our latest production updates. We are working hard to get the KRUVE Sifter in your hands as soon as possible!
If you missed any of our last updates please follow the below link for any past or upcoming updates:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ra ... em/updates

This update however we felt is so special we wanted to email everyone directly as we are so excited the production samples have arrived!

This is our 4th iteration of the KRUVE Sifter and we are happy to say that we are nearly there! Only small details remain to be changed on the tooling to ensure each and every Sifter comes out perfect like the first.

Check out some photos of the Sifter in its three stunning colours!

(They had a bunch of pictures of the product here)

We are still on schedule to be shipping the first units in October so you can get the Sifter before the holiday season.

Cheers!

on following the link I see they do say end of September on Kivkstarter, which was posted three days before this. Looks like a possible communications error?

I may have missed it before, but this is the first time I'm seeing their actual size and I'm quite surprised ( most of what I saw was more like 3D rendering or photos without scale). I was under the assumption they were a bit smaller. My portability hopes are a bit dashed. They don't look like they'll fit in a simple bag for daily hauling to/from work quite as easily.

I was also surprised, but pleasantly, bigger means the sieve works faster. It never occurred to me to drag it around. But, it might fit perfectly in a lunch box.

If they're working on how the pieces fit together, then those pieces haven't been made yet. This is a Kickstarter; don't hold your breath. At least it looks like there is still a decent chance of people actually getting the item.
