Post-fit doser to Rocky?

Postby paperpig on Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:13 am

I have a doser-less Rocky. Out of interest, is it possible to post fit a doser to the Rocky and what are the pros and cons of doser vs doserless? TIA.

Rather than convert a doserless to doser, it would probably be much less expensive and less hassle to sell your current grinder and buy another used. Given the even divide between doser/doserless fans, you may be able to arrange a trade. Try Coffeegeek's Buy, Sell, and Trade.

I've thought about going the other way with mine since I only use it for drip or press. It doesn't look hard. Has anyone done it?

It looks to me like it should be just a case of unscrew one and replace with the other but the question is, can you get the parts?
