The Roscoe Hand Grinder by the folks at Portaspresso has now arrived on the web. No pricing shown at this time.
Look for it here: http://www.portaspresso.com/page1004.html
I can't vouch for how well it works, but it certainly looks impressive. Made with Gleeming brass that looks closely fitted. It has a logical design using a 38mm conical burr that grinds directly into an attached portafilter or a provided cup. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

The folks at Portaspresso have revamped the website with more pictures and information about the Portaspresso machine, now dubbed the Rossa Hand Espresso. Check out the Master Class Section for more information and very complete details on both machines here: http://www.portaspresso.com/page009.html

I think this is pretty fresh. Hopefully someone will be able to post a hands-on review soon.

Looks really nice! Would have preferred stainless steel though...

Lovely indeed. The coffee press is somewhat steep at $400. I imagine the grinder would be equally high priced.

This is a nice looking hand grinder. And it looks well built. Like you said, hopefully someone will provide a hands-on experience.

I think it would be very difficult to convince me to buy this gadget instead of a Mypressi Twist.
