I recently got the Ceado E5P grinder. For the last several years I have always weighed my doses for espresso. I previously use a Bartaza Vario. I also prefer a bottomless portafilter. Even before I bought the Ceado, I had a plan to make a weighing stand for it. I knew a...
I've had the ECM S-Automatik 64 just about 3 years, and overall like the grinder. I rarely deal with it- I'll fine tune the grind when I refill the hopper if needed, and basically I just use it every day once or twice. One day, I accidentally pulled off the chute (its designed...
I did a quick search and didn't find a post on the new Kinu M47 Traveler. I can't find any information on it, since it is not available yet. Here is a link to a sneak peek video, thought I'd pass it along-
I thought I would start a new thread to share a neat trick I learned to reduce retention to near zero while using my Baratza Vario (with Forte conversion and steel burrs). I use it for espresso mainly and pourover occasionally.

The home Eureka website lists 310 watts for Specialita.

Today I pulled an 18g shot and it was too fast, putting out 36g in 24 seconds. Then I lowered the grind...
Hey Gang,
I've seen a lot of comments on r/espresso putting down the NZ for its internal plastic parts yet haven't seen any postings/pictures etc. that confirm this. I understand Dave C's review is from early per-production but I think it's heavily used by most prospective...
Today my Sette, set to 17g, ran until about 8g showed, froze there and didn't turn off. I had to manually stop it. Did it twice. I unplugged and plugged it in again and it seems run OK now. Any idea what would cause this? The unit is a couple years old.
