Opinions of Nuova Simonelli MDXC Conical Grinder?

In my quest for the Eldorado of grinders under $ 800, I've come across the Simonelli MDXC conical grinder.
So much attention (understandably so) has been paid to the Mazzer Mini, Macap M4, Cimbali Jr.(which are flat burrs) amongst others that I would try to seek out "affordable" and non-monstrous-sized conical grinders that would look good in a modest kitchen. I believe the Simonelli MDXC conical is 63mm with a very low RPM which conicals are renown for, preserving the aroma better than a faster RPM on the flat burr. Have I bought into the advertiser's hype or are there real benefits to the conical burr over the flat burr (and please remember the $800 price point). Regards to all, Sol.

It looks like a rebadged Conti Valerio to me. I haven't used this particular model, but other commercial grinders from this manufacturer have a nice doser (good sweep and direct drop into the PF). At $800 this looks to be fairly good value for money imo. I think the Macap MXK is about the same prce and spec. With regards to the flat vs conical issue, please check the Titan Grinder Project -thread in the Bench forum section.
