A close up, it's just a baby duck figurine I picked up at a home store up in Napa a few years ago, for like $7 or so.

Giving it the "Krylon touch". Not sure if I want it more gloss or flat. I originally wanted it to be very glossy, but now am having second thoughts.

In the background, you can see the Artazza cappuccino cup and Coffee cup that just arrived today, looks beautiful and perks up my capp "fix" wonderfully.
Back in it's rightful place. I will likely do a slight wash of a black color, then rub it off, so it just antiques the crevices and tones it down a bit, but I think it looks cool enough for right now as it sits. May be a bit bright, but I like how it jumps out. And it does it's job perfectly. The little blue sticker I put on my storage jars reminds me that this batch of Redbird it contains was roasted on the 18th. But it's only been out of the freezer for 3 days and is still pulling beautifully.

Here's a capp I pulled right after, in my new cup. With the new 2 hole tip for my Duetto, I'm getting such powerful, dryer steam, that is making microfoam nearly impossible to mess up. Now that I can actually get consistent microfoam, I need to learn how to create a bit of latte art. But that's off topic.
