Not odd at all. Mine was made 11/2013, and the change from 00.1 seconds to 1.0 seconds happened in 2014. Given a 2015 build date, it's working just as it should. Why Mahlkonig changed the firmware to limit dialing the dosing down to 00.1 seconds is a mystery.

I have emailed them. So we shall see. Someone earlier in the thread said the new ones only go to 01.0. But that just doesn't make much sense to me.

Thanks for letting me know. I was just curious if something was wrong or by chance I had an older firmware somehow. The grinder works perfect. That would be my only complaint. That and I wish the timer went to 1/100th of a second.... That add one would make it the perfect grinder for the price.
