Does anybody have any experience/knowledge on this new Ascaso I Mini grinder:

I was all set to purchase a I Mini when yesterday (on the site I was to purchase said item) this appeared. Richard Gordon (HB regular and I Mini owner) pointed out that the conical burr was larger (50mm over 38mm)...which, unfortunately, means little to me in terms of performance. He also pointed out that this new model resembles (which indeed it does) the Le' Lit PL53 grinder. The 'chute' has been somewhat altered and I'm wondering if this addresses the 'stuck/clumped' ground coffee in the chute which (apparently) occurs with the previous I Mini? As yet I cannot find any reviews on this model, but I will next week be purchasing an Ascaso (either this new model or the previous version - price is pretty much the same, bearing in mind this company are doing the 'new' model for the same price as others are doing the 'old' model).
Aside from aesthetics (I do quite like the s/steel version) the 'lip' for resting the PF looks a lot more solid.

Anybody have any experience with this newer model?

Cheers.

The Ascaso site calls this grinder the I-Steel. There seems to be a 1 and a 2, with the 2 having the 54mm burrs, presumably flat like the I-1. The I-Steel 2 has the 38mm conicals.

Yes - it's all a little confusing though.

The site I originally saw this on is only selling the 'i mini stainless steel' with the 140w motor (the ascaso site doesn't mention the size of the burrs, though the i-1 steel (and the doser version) has 54mm burrs. Wonder if the 50m burrs quoted on the espresso site is not correct.
