I know if i had the conical I would be wondering if I should have got the flat. I have a sinking feeling that I will end up with both.

First world problems people!

Send it to me and get yourself a flat.

I ordered the flat because I already had two conical grinders so my choice was easy 8)

For those of you using the Conical for pourover, roughly how much do you rotate for pourover range? I've tried everything from 180 to a full 360 clockwise from espresso range and it seems like it is still too fine and for some reason didn't really detect a change in the flow from 180 to 360.
It could be also that I am particularly newbie/bad at pourover

Interesting how thought processes differ. I was single dosing a M7D conical (a PIA but worked well) so ordered the Monolith conical first and loved the work flow, quiet operation and virtual zero retention with ease difference. Then ordered the flat.

when I got my large conicals, flats weren't as popular and lots of people were of the view that conicals provided a better flavor profile with more nuances; what I do remember is how much fluffier the grinds from the robur looked at the coffee shop compared to my mini mazzer

flats seem to have made quite a comeback 8)
