I live in South Africa, so have no idea about shipping fees etc but I will find out, I made a grid for the grinding chute to break up clumps and slow the grind down, without that the grinds fly out of the chute and stick to everything. I also taped a temporary cardboard screen to the lid on the dosing chamber near the back to stop any grounds that might fly out at speed to stay at the back.

On the digital timer mod I bought it for R390( divide that by 6.7 or so to get Dollars). My Major already had a contactor inside and I bridged the wires from the micro switch at the top of the dosing chamber( the one that stops when the chamber is full(super old school) and wired the other one through the timer that was in a micro switch in the bottom of the dosing chamber that was auto started by dosing 6 times. As I understand the timer I bought couldn't handle the amperage of the motor so I had to go through the other contactor.

I have wanted to make a funnel that is a little more robust than the paper funnel that I currently use. This looks very quality. Nice job! You are not trying to make an extra one for me are you? :)

ill buy the second, though id love to buy a doserless too ... but seriously .. the mod looks like it works great, both the doser mod and the timer.

Oh I almost forgot, although the SJ and the Major dosers have the same circumference the insert doesn't fit in both, the major seems to have a smaller hole, I am going to sell these to coffee shops near me cos everyone hates the Mazzer left spray and will let you all know if the SJ inserts fit all SJ's.

Could you show some photos of how this is wired and what parts you used?
