New mini with cosmetic feature changes? Now it will be even more overpriced than before!

LMAO. Obviously someone like me who enjoys roasting Yemen and Harar!
I actually have a collection of pretty little jagged edged stones from various locations in Africa. Not exactly a moon rock.
Sorry for the journey OT.
I never heard the music on the Mazzer web site. Was it elevator, or "Give me cuando, cuando, cuando" sort of thing? You have to be old to remember my 2nd reference.

It was elevator, but a nice Venetian elevator.

Does this work? It appears they gave it a more attractive hopper and a nicer metal grinds tray, at the least.

The thread I mentioned earlier on is here.

Mini E II: New hopper, new housing, stainless tray, changes to the anti-static grid, power cable from the bottom now. There's a picture of the tray as well. No mentioning of the doser mini, but the tray and hopper seem to be identical.

Ah, you're right about the body--After I saw the pictures of the new Mini-E II, I noticed that the picture of the new doser mini has the same body style--a very subtle change from what I can see, the body has a smoother taper upwards from the base. If the cord comes out of the bottom, too, that is an extremely welcome change. It's silly to me that Mazzer ever put them on the side to begin with.

It seems kind of pathetic that they haven't updated the dosing pad to match the larger electronic models (i.e., with a digital display). I can't read German, but I'd love to read/see more about the changes to the wire grid, out of curiosity.

Seems to be all welcome changes - anyone know when this will trickle out to US dealers?
