Ok, so I am the proud new owner of a Super Jolly E (having previously used a doser-ed SJ). So my question is, should I keep the anti-static screen in or remove it?

Thanks
Joe

You would likely find that you need it some times and not others based on the weather / humidity.

Its easy to remove, so try it. If the static is too much for you to bear, then put it back.

I've used my SJ with and without the a-stat screen and have come to the conclusion that it is necessary.

The screen has 2 functions with an electronic doser.

1) it retains the grounds in the cute so that each timed dose is as close to the same volume as possible.

2) it aids in reducing clumping of the grounds

The screen is not necessary nor does it come installed in the hand/chunker doser models

Removing the screen provides no benefit whereas leaving it in helps greatly in dose consistency and reducing clumping.

This is just my opinion based on my experience with the SJ and the custom mod I did to mine as stated in the HB post listed below.

I am sure others will be along with their opinions shortly
