Mazzer (Rio) logo removal

Postby GewoW on Wed Nov 18, 2009 1:01 pm

Anyone have an idea how to remove this from the grinder? There are no screws holding it in place, so it it simply glue or is there some other anchoring method?

Thanks

The badge has 2 pins that fit into holes on the grinder body that are bent over on the inside. If you carefully pry up under the lower edge of the badge you should be able to straighten the pins enough to remove it.

To get it off without scratching anything, cover a screwdriver with a shirt and pry it off.. once its off you can pull with pliers (if you're tossing it, or do something more gentle if you want to keep it)

To put it back on, make sure the poles are aligned and simple push it into the holes.

If it's too lose try a dab of hot glue on the back of the logo
