Mazzer Mini E doesn't start

I just received my New Mazzer Mini E (type b) and after installing it and plugging it, it doesn't start. The power on green led is lightened but nothing happens when i press the 'grind button'. i tried a constant push, a one push (1 doze) and a double push. No noise, no movement, nothing.

is there something i didn't understand properly? any suggestion?

I have used one for 5-1/2 years and, as best I can remember, you did not miss anything.

Remove the hopper and try to turn the lower burr - yes, it rotates ? If not, turn the adjustment collar 1/4 turn clockwise and try again.

Tried, but nothing. except for the green light, there is no signs of life. The dosing push button doesn't activate anything.

I called the store and they were quite surprised, They even asked me if I plug the machine (even though i told them the power on light was green), as it seemed impossible to them. They told me it was a first in 15 years and they will call me back tomorrow for further tests...
