Mazzer Mini - Cracks In Collar

I just ran some Grindz through my 3 month old Mazzer mini, and it cleaned everything out great. However, when I looked down into the collar opening, I noticed some little cracks/imperfections in the casting (See Screen Shot). I just wanted to know if this is normal or not, or if they could get worse.

I've seen some imperfections like that. Not sure if it's "normal", but it's proven harmless.
