Then you have an automatic, just like I do. The on/off switch is just power to the electronics that start the motor when the doser senses low coffee.double0 wrote:Aw.., its actually a "Major - Aut".

yes, can you share a picture of your electronics from the inside, particularly the block terminal. I need to see were the doser top and bottom sensors get connected to the terminal block. I believe they are two brown and two grey cables coming from the top of the grinder. Thank in advance

Or you could just look at that wiring diagram that I linked to. It clearly shows those two switches & their wiring position on that block in relation to the other wires.

I'm not able to take a picture at the moment. Perhaps later, but I followed the diagrams John linked when I removed the doser switches from my Major AUT.

Glad you got it worked out! =)
What year is your Major? The internals look slightly different than mine.

Mine is a 2000 and it is in immaculate condition minus a few paint blemishes and scratches on the doser... I'm thinking it wasn't used much. You should post a picture, I'm wondering if it has the old school doser like my first SJ did.double0 wrote:They are truely a tank, Serial number start with a 96, if im correct, 1996?
