I'm listening to the latest Tamper Tantrum podcast with Matt Perger and a couple of interesting factoids popped out at me about grinders. First, Matt apologized for his WBC EK43 presentation where he claimed that the EK43 is unimodal and produces few fines. He now believes that the EK43 produces a lot of fines, this fact was hidden by the logarithmic graphs. He's reversed his opinion on the value of fines in brewing.
Second, he mentioned that the Peak grinder project was basically started as a project to turn the K30 into a EK43 grinder. He mentioned that the Peak has a much larger motor, amongst other things so a parts upgrade from the K30 to a Peak seems unlikely to work. Interesting podcast so far.

Reminds me of Roseanne Rosannadanna on SNL:
Roseanne: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Chevy: It's blue, not red.
Roseanne: Never mind.
