We might be able to shoot a video soon to run over the newer features, but I believe Mahlkonig haven't quite finalized certain aspects of it just yet, so it would be more of a "first look" than a proper overview. Right now, we're looking at around $1200 retail.
Hey Steve! What are the burrs in the scody?? There wasn't any info in the video.

And OT but do you guys allow customers the chance to come in and try grinders?? I was up in your offices last August to pick up my k30; I will be in need of a new grinder soon for a catering set up and would really like to test a couple grinders out before making a solid decision.

All I know so far is that they're 75mm flat burrs. They may be the same as the earlier Super Caimano, but I haven't gotten that confirmed yet.

If you let us know beforehand we may be able to arrange something. Got any specific models in mind?

And from the look it also look like a similar adjustment as the twin = stepped
The K30 Twin has been stepless for a while.

The one I owned, restored and upgraded where an older model, so I have only seen the original version from the inside, that one also had the old grinding chamber design. But nice Mahl upgraded it to stepless, not that the stepped design where a problem on the original twin, as there were plenty of them. Really lovely grinder that were well constructed, kinda misses it.

I'm glad that Mahl has decided to upgrade and rethink the Twin as it were indeed needed.

Hi Steve

Any further thoughts/testing on this SCODY?
Thanks

Looks like the Scody is available now. If the pricing is quite a bit cheaper than K30 then it makes a very compelling alternative.
