I have to say the EK43s all look like they could grind meat too.

Quick, someone measure how tall it is!FotonDrv wrote:That appears to be back to back with a full sized EK, is that correct? A few inches difference.
Is this this final production version, or still a prototype? It doesn't look much different than the one marked "Prototype" on the marketing photo.

Not much info yet, but interested in exactly how the various settings work. I know they don't care too much about nerds buying for the home, but I hope they will make more limited edition mini-EKs, because I can't see this being anything but expensive. And pre-weighing doses is not that big of a deal in a home setting. The new knife set will probably also fit classik EK unless made for different speeds only?

There are some more details in this high res photo that Prima Coffee posted on twitter. If you zoom in you can read the card:
EK 43 Barista - All-round grinding solution built for the best!
+ Universal Motor Adjust
able to 450-1800 rpm at any time by large wheel at the side
+ New double-threaded adjustment wheel for general adjustment from espresso fine
to french press course and secondary fine tuning.
+ New portafilter rest and spout - easy to disassemble for easy cleaning and
individual setting

I much prefer the appearance of the standard EK to this one. Though I much prefer the sight of an EK with your dosing tool atop itTerranova wrote:Here is a little clip...
If the final production version of the EK43B resembles what we see here, count me out - I'll take the original over this, even if I need to swap out a Santos lower case myself.
