I considered taking my Major with me when I last visited my parents, but I was concerned about it's effect on my car's fuel economy :lol:

Based on the reviews only, I ordered one of these http://mypressi.com/ which I will try with a hand grinder for trips. We'll see.

This past summer we brought the Zass & Hario 5C v/p on our car trips. Now that I have the MCaL w/travel case that will be the car trip machine & I'm planning on bringing one of the SJs next time to see how it works out. Over the winter I'm going to install a 120v converter box in one of the rear enclosures of our Touring for tailgate espresso.
