Some may have seen this, but an interesting alternative to the "classic black" HG One look and feel....

All anodized aluminum... interesting. Anyone?

it's quite "different" so I suspect some mac user might want one.

Actually it might look cool on the counter of a coffee shop.. but it needs some scratches and scorch marks or something... like it's been through the ringer.. conversation piece.

I look forward to seeing it polished to a mirror finish.
You're not always right, but when you're right, you're right, right?

Love the grinder. Love shiny and bling but this one doesn't do it for me.

I liked their pre-production one better than the anodized production version. I never thought to ask if they could leave one set (just the fly wheel and the burr holder) raw. Raw metal and black would make a nice set.

And here it is disassembled - awaiting Craig to take it to a mirror finish - your wish is Craig's command!

When I read the first two sentences of your reply, I was surprised because I KNOW how much you like things shiny - but then when you stated the quote above I thought "Now that's the Scott I know!"

+1

Raw metal and anodized black would look sharp.

This would look out of place in a home. In an industrial coffee shop with low-lighting and the right feel, this would be the most incredible piece to have.
