Help identify this grinder? [Fiorenzato T80]

Postby aindfan on Mon Jan 31, 2011 4:08 pm

Hello,

Can anyone identify this grinder?

Image

All I can really tell about it is that it's neither a Mazzer nor a Macap, and while it doesn't look like a Rossi RR45 based on the body, that would be the most likely candidate given that it is listed with a Brasilia Portofino two group.

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! Based on my searches, is this grinder right in the league of the Mazzer Super Jolly with its ~64mm flat burrs?

Yes, the T80 got 63.something burrs. similar to Mazzer the chute between grinding chamber and doser is quite narrow, so retention is pretty low.
Unlike the Mazzer it isn't stepless, but the steps are fine enough for me.

All in all. nice grinder for home use...
