From the doser and hopper designs, I would guess a re-badged Gaggia of some sort.

Sounds like someone's in the NYC craigslist area :D .

Unfortunately I don't know about this grinder, but adjustment mechanisms tend to hang out around the hopper collar (where the hopper enters the grinder).

Did you buy it?

I see that mechanism but it does not move sideways,only up and down so I dont know how to tweak it.

Did you buy it?

Yes,along with a Elektra Micro Casa a leva.

Congratulations on a great setup (assuming the grinder is working well - the photo makes it look like some cleaning is in order)!

What steps do you take to remove the upper burr? That might offer a hint.

none...lol...I take the hopper off,the switch moves up and down.Nothing else seems to move or rotate.

Is the outside of that grinder hammered gold metal? It almost looks like camouflage, but I hope it isn't :)

It is hammered gold metal,the picture does not do it justice...It does not have a name brand on it.Say's made in italy on the bottom,that's it.
