I've been complaining to myself for some time now about using a doser grinder for my couple shots per day. I even considered selling the grinder, even though it's otherwise nice and I would be hard pressed to replace it for what I paid (or could sell it for). So I finally decided to suck it up and fix the problem!

I ordered the Chinese confectionery funnel and waited a few weeks for it to arrive. Today was the day so I went to work immediately. I took the doser off, wrapped a piece of paper around it, and rubbed a pencil over it for a template. I chopped the exit hole back to get it a little more relevant size and then proceeded to hack my holes in. It ended up going more smoothly than anticipated.

That's a pretty cool mod, I keep seeing grinders come up on Craigslist, but they all have dozers. . .

Any issues with static? My Mazzer Major was a static monster when I converted it to doserless. I had to get the anti-static screen to fix it.
