Does anyone know where to get the latest template for the elvinator. I have been able to locate the original but as I undestand it there were several changes made to the original and I have been unable to locate that template.

FYI, Espressoparts posted a photo installation guide on flickr. Alternatively, check out Andy's How to Tame a Messy Mazzer Doser.

Doesn't EPNW actually sell a finished version?

That'll work, as long as the $9.67 also includes an SJ.
Andy's Schnozzola worked pretty well, considering.
Happy M-Day to you, yours and all.

Rob, don't feel too bad. That is probably an unintended consequence of Dan's new algorithm, designed to lower my MVP rating with each subsequent post.

hahahahahaha LMTO

Geesh, I haven't been MVP in my own house since the birth of our first.
Back on topic, has anyone with an SJ tried the EPNW version of the Elvinator?

I have a new SJ. The doser is a pretty much the same as the old one except for some very minor differences (lower doser mounting bolts are no longer accessible for example, tiny covers on them in the doser bottom).

Still, I found the elvinator installation a little tricky getting the bends just right. I ended up going back to my old, simpler (and removable) cone style "Schectermatic Schnoz" ....which I made of the same plastic as the elvinator (thin, plastic place mat worked fine as material).
