Dang, I was hoping you were going to say your super human strength ripped off the teeth the last time you made an adjustment. 8)

Mark,

I'm sure it was the fumes from those *bucks roasted, costco peddled beans that slithered thru it when I was putting cheap miles on new burrs that caused the chrome breakdown  Either that or an Italian chrome platers version of a painters holiday.

The hopper in the photo is identical to the ones on both my Ninos. It could be that the angle of the photo makes it look slightly different.

Theodore,

I didn't have the time earlier to look back to see what hopper I used on the Nino to get a smaller size that I felt looked right with the design of the grinder. It is the Mahlkonig K30 twin hopper 8734. It fits perfectly into the mount with no alteration required. I bought mine from Mahlkonig USA. I didn't buy the metal cut off slide for the bottom $$. Credit cards, etc. work fine for that purpose. :)

Many thanks to Nicholas for pointing me in the right direction.

As trivial and superficial as this might sound, these borosilicate tube hoppers may have been the final nail in my checkbook's coffin, sending me over the edge to order a Nino to go along with my Speedster on order. Instead of borosilicate, I opted for quartz, which though slightly more expensive, is done by a glassworks house very close to where I live. Thanks for posting these.
You can't win. You can't break even. You can't get out of the game.
