Elektra Nino Grinder - Page 5

Postby Theodore on Tue Dec 02, 2008 5:05 pm

Today, I finally ordered the above grinder, from espressocoffeeshop, which is in Italy, from which I also bought my Macap CPS tamper, and I wait delivery.
When I learn it at some extent, I"ll write about.
Of course, I have little experience with grinders, as I have only used the Mazzer Mini for seven years ,so, I can compare just the two.
I hope that my Techno, will "recognize" the best.

Theodore...some serious Envy here!
Yes, please keep us informed. Even though much of the gear featured here is somewhat more than I can swing these days, It's fun to read, dream and yes, HOPE that one day one of these shiny new espresso expressions will dwell in my dwelling.
Enjoy!

Today, I received the Nino grinder.HUGE and very well made.
The bad news, is that I have sent my Techno for a service,(descale and
triple valve change),so I can not enjoy, right now, my new "toy".
When I turn it on, I will write my first impressions.

Hi Theodore,

Would love if you could post some pics in the interim, particularly of the side and back of the grinder... can't seem to find them anywhere on the net...

Cheers, Chris

Theodore, thanks a lot for sending us these pics. I have inserted them into your post above so you can edit them if you need to.

I hope you're enjoying it! I thought about getting one for awhile, but decided it wasn't worth the extra money, risk, and 220V power requirement over the Robur. I'm really looking forward to hearing your impressions.
