Does Macap M4 hopper fit on the Macap MX?

Postby Degull on Thu Dec 17, 2009 8:05 pm

Hi everyone. I recently bought a SanRemo MXT which is a Macap MX under a different name. The bean hopper is massive and I would like to replace it with a smaller hopper so it will fit underneath the cupboards. Can someone with an M4 please measure the base or the portion of the hopper that inserts into the grinder? The M4's hopper looks like the perfect size to make the grinder a lower profile grinder. Thanks!!

That helps but I was really interested in the diameter of the collar.

Nope, doesn't fit, different size.
Most Macap models have different collar sizes.
M4 and MX are not exchangeable.
I barista, do you?

Some specific dimensions on M4 (MC4) hopper.
The hopper does not hit the landing in the grinder.
