Grind speed was set at about 395 rpm for this dose.

I was thinking the opposite ?.. Considering the belt drive etc.
It's a beautifully crafted piece of equipment, but there must be a better way of delivering the bean dose into the burrs. A chute of equal quality craftsmanship maybe ?

It is beautiful & I thought it was pretty quiet. That said I think I'd be done grinding/sweeping with my K10 in the time it takes to put the beans in the burr chamber. Then you still have to deal with the doughnut like pile of grounds.

It looks like I have the medium size pour boats. They flex easily and are a single use item for lab use. Here are some on eBay, not sure how flexible they are.
