Compak K10 without WBC signage? - Page 2

1st-line and other drop shippers are probably still using the old WBC name precisely because they are drop shippers and don't actually stock the grinder. I'm not sure how proactive Compak has been about informing vendors about the change. It was noted here on HB back in September.

This sort of thing happens a lot in manufacturing. The K10 WBC/Pro Barista has been updated in various minor ways many times without any specific change in product description. Your grinder is identical to what was called a K10 WBC. The only difference is the sticker on the front. I know it's annoying, but would it really have affected your grinder choice? If yes, then return it.

No, of course it wouldn't have affected my choice. I selected the grinder based on reports from forum members about its performance and grind characteristics and other assessments. I wasn't buying the WBC signage, but I was unsure if I got the right grinder and annoyed that this variance wasn't explained to me when I placed my order. It would be silly to return it. But I remain annoyed.
