In my experience, the K10 spins down very quickly compared to many grinders I've used (the Anfim Super Caimano probably takes the cake for the longest spin-down). I sometimes start sweeping the front of the chute cautiously as it's spinning down, and pushing to the back after it seems like it's done spinning. I've missed a couple times and had my brush smashed into gently. It's never seemed to have any effect, other than damaging my brush.
